What we do
We currently have sessions running weekly. All in which are well attended. We have users who have been coming 10 years and some who have been 4 weeks. Our service users come for company, socialise and have a good day out. We also help build their confidence, build relationships and form friendships.
Befriending By Phone
Befriending by phone is a way of offering people a chance to have someone to talk to. This service is offered every Monday morning and helps people in there own homes, whom might not have the chance to talk to anyone weeks on end. Through this service we can sign post people to other services that might be of interest to them.
The service is independent and completely confidential.
Stoke Survivors Group
Meets every Thursday. This is an open group for anyone who has survived a stroke, from Bradford regardless of age. They meet to socialise and listen to each others stories or join in any of the activities from art work, dominos, exercise, chair bowling, gust speakers and much more.
For more information please contact the centre on our contacts page..
Stay for lunch with our Luncheon club and partake in socialising with each other. There’s also Bingo, weekly raffles and guest speakers.
Stretching is an important part of elderly and seniors flexibility and will help offset the effects in lack of flexibility in the joints.
